A visit from an author!

Session1: How I became an author  https://youtu.be/DWDNsSp84Gw
Session 2: Writing biographies and being a journalist session https://youtu.be/cqLAs4KPehM
Session 3: Writing biographies challenge video https://youtu.be/wyePh_u9e1w

Maths:

There are two maths investigation packs included on the website, try the trickier version, then do the easier one if you wish to. These will focus on the learning we have done this year so far- so you will need to think back and remember lots!

Send me your solutions on Class Dojo!

English:

For English today I would like you to choose your favourite book and to write a review for it. It would be great to share these both on the Class Story and at school!

1. Think of the book you would like to write about (it would be good to choose one you have at home, so you can read it!)

2.Use the planning sheet to get all the information you need.

3. Write your book review! You can draw pictures, a bold title, a border... decorate your page however you would like!

There is a checklist of all the things to include and also a planning template in the documents.

World Book Day activities!

I have chosen two books to focus on that I know you have all read! If you want to adapt the activities to different books or explore the activities on the World Book Day website, then go for it!

Do as many activities as you would like, you don't have to complete all of them. Have some fun exploring books and reading!

Make sure you take some time today to sit and read!
