Thursday 4th March

It's World Book Day!

As an alternative to the Literacy / Art work set today you could have a look at the resources on the link at the bottom of this section. Read an extract of your choice and then you could write a review, a summary, design a book cover or even write up an interview with a character! Alternatively you could write a review of your favourite book or write a piece explaining why your fictional hero is your hero!

Also: remember to get some questions ready today for Sarah Oliver's virtual visit tomorrow.

e.g. Why / When / How did you start writing? Who inspired you? Do you prefer factual books to fiction? Why?

Who is your favourite author? Do you think books are better than films / television?
