What pupils value most

  • Respect and equality: Almost all pupils (96%) strongly agree the school encourages them to respect others and treat everyone equally.

  • Enjoyment of school: Over half enjoy school all the time, and most of the rest enjoy it most of the time.

  • Learning: 64 pupils said they enjoy learning all or most of the time.

  • Feeling heard: 95.7% agree or strongly agree teachers listen to what they have to say.

  • Supportive adults: 98.6% agree or strongly agree there is an adult they can talk to if something is worrying them.

  • Independence and responsibility: Nearly 90% agree the school encourages them to be independent and take on responsibilities.

  • Physical and mental health: Around 90% agree the school encourages them to look after their physical, emotional, and mental health.

School life beyond lessons

  • 54% take part in school activities like clubs, sports, music, and art at least frequently.

  • Pupils enjoy events such as Forest School, cooking workshops, church visits, and special themed days.

Behaviour and Safety

  • Behaviour in lessons and around school is rated “good all or most of the time” by the majority.

  • Most pupils feel bullying is rare or dealt with well when it happens.
