Special Educational Needs

At Woodchurch Church of England Primary School, we value every child as a unique individual. We are committed to ensuring that all pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, have full and equal access to every aspect of school life and learning.

We believe that children thrive best when school and families work in partnership. We welcome open communication and encourage parents and carers to share concerns, ideas and successes so that together we can provide the very best support for each child.

Working in Partnership

If you would like to discuss your child’s needs, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. You can:

  • Speak to us informally at the gate or in school.

  • Telephone the school office on 01233 860232.

  • Email us directly at senco@woodchurch.kent.sch.uk.

  • Visit the office to arrange an appointment.

We are always happy to listen and work alongside you.

SEND Support pages

Our SEND Support pages are here to guide and support families every step of the way. On the right-hand side, you’ll find a full menu of pages offering information, advice and resources to help you understand and access the support available for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

These pages are designed to give you clear guidance, whether you are looking for practical strategies, school policies, or details of external services. Remember, you are not alone—if you have any questions or need further support, you can always speak to our Inclusion Leader, Mrs Butcher, or your child’s class teacher, who will be happy to help.
