At Woodchurch CE Primary School, we want every child to have the chance to “let their light shine.”
The Pupil Premium is extra funding given to schools to help children succeed and enjoy the same opportunities as their peers.
✅ Your child may be eligible if you receive:

Universal Credit (with household income under £7,400 after tax)

Income Support

Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)

Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

The guaranteed element of State Pension Credit

Child Tax Credit (with no Working Tax Credit and income below £16,190)
Children are also eligible if they:

Have been registered for Free School Meals in the last 6 years

Are currently in care or have been looked after by the Local Authority

Are children of Armed Forces personnel

Even if your child already gets a Universal Free School Meal (Reception – Year 2), applying could still mean:
