At Woodchurch CE Primary School, we are fortunate to have the Woodchurch Village Life Museum right on our doorstep – a place rich in history and full of opportunities for hands-on learning.

Our pupils regularly visit the museum as part of their curriculum work. The collections and displays give children a real sense of the past, from exploring old tools and farming equipment to discovering how everyday village life has changed over time. These visits help to bring history to life, making learning meaningful and memorable.

The museum staff and volunteers always give our children a warm welcome, sharing their knowledge and stories in ways that engage and inspire. Whether it’s a topic on local history, changes in technology, or understanding village traditions, the museum provides unique resources that enrich our teaching.
