Keeping You Safe
At Woodchurch, your safety and happiness are the most important things to us. We want you to feel safe, listened to, and cared for — in school, at home, and everywhere you go.
This page is just for you, with ideas, tips, and people you can talk to if you ever feel worried, scared, or unsure about something.
👂 Who Can I Talk To?
There are lots of grown-ups who are here to help you:
-
Your Teacher or Teaching Assistant
-
Mrs Burlton, Mrs Ridley, Mrs Butcher or Miss Tombs
-
Any Trusted Adult at School
If something is worrying you – big or small – you can tell any adult you trust. You can also write a note or ask to talk privately. You will be listened to.
🛡️ What Does “Safeguarding” Mean?
Safeguarding means keeping you safe from:
-
Harm or bullying
-
People who might hurt you
-
Dangerous things online
-
Feeling sad, unsafe, or confused
We teach you how to stay safe in lessons like PSHE, Online Safety, and Assemblies, and we always make sure school is a safe and friendly place.
