Attendance
At Woodchurch CEP School, we know there is a strong link between good attendance, punctuality, and high achievement. To help every child reach their full potential, they need to be in school regularly and on time.

Book appointments outside school hours whenever possible.
-
Take holidays in school holiday periods – term-time holidays cannot be authorised.
-

Why attendance matters
Children with 95% attendance or higher are more likely to:
-
Make better academic and social progress.
-
Find it easier to follow school routines.
-
Have a smoother transition to secondary school.
Every day in school counts — pupils learn something new every day, and missing lessons can quickly lead to gaps in learning.
