At Woodchurch CE Primary School, we are proud to be part of the Tenterden Rural Alliance – a collaborative partnership of local schools united by a shared goal: to raise achievement and enhance opportunities for all our pupils.

This informal collaboration has been growing for over ten years, with an ongoing commitment to working as one community of learners.

What We Do Together

The alliance gives our staff, pupils, and governors opportunities to learn, grow and succeed by sharing knowledge, resources and experiences across all our schools.

Key areas of collaboration include:

• Joint staff training – including whole training days involving over 400 staff members

• Celebration of Education events – where pupils showcase their learning with pride

• Governor training – supporting effective governance and shared values

• Teacher collaboration and moderation – improving consistency and learning outcomes

• Shared sporting events – from multi-sports to football, netball and cricket, organised by our Sports Leader

These shared experiences help foster high standards, encourage innovation, and ensure that every child benefits from a broader range of opportunities and expertise.
