Since September 2020, we have been using ClassDojo for rewarding achievements, behaviours and attitudes in school.  

ClassDojo allows you to see how well your child is doing at school in many different areas.  It is a child friendly online system that the children find extremely motivating. Each child has their own avatar and throughout the week they will be awarded points for various reasons, including excellent work and demonstrating positive behaviours (eg working hard, helping others, teamwork etc).  

Teachers also use ClassDojo to share information quickly with parents and carers and to give an up-to-date picture of your child’s learning in real time. There will be weekly messages to families and it will allow us to share images and videos of learning and the fun the children have throughout their time at Woodchurch.

ClassDojo points replace traditional house points but are still shared and celebrated on a weekly basis in Celebration worship.  We encourage all families to engage with ClassDojo, as working together can only enrich your child’s progress.  By joining the ClassDojo community, you will also be able to see how many points your child has received, and what they have been awarded for.
