Wow! Year 1 have been very busy with their Science learning!

They were incredibly lucky and along with EYFS and Year 5, were able to visit the Wonderdome to learn all about the Solar System!

As part of their Christmas activities Year 1 made Santa faces! They had the challenge of using lots of different everyday materials, such as: paper plates, paint, cotton wool and plastic! They did a fantastic job of creating beautiful art work and using scientific vocabulary to describe the materials.
